Who We Are
We’re Nick Moore and Stratton Gilroy—two passionate travelers who believe everyone should have access to real, affordable travel experiences.
Nick, originally from England, has visited over 26 countries and knows how to make every dollar count. He met Stratton in 2020 while working on a banana farm in Mission Beach.
Stratton, a true-blue Aussie, grew up in hostels from the age of 12. Today, he runs three hostels across Australia and has explored 38 countries himself.
Together, we created Tru Travel Co to bring a new kind of travel service to life—one built on honesty, value, and freedom.
